Friendship Momentum in Action: Social Health Experiment Part Three
Quick recap: I created an experiment—six social gatherings over six months—to see what would happen if I treated friendship like a habit rather than a happy accident.
By month three, something beautiful began to unfold. My once-quiet calendar was filling with connections: dinners, spontaneous walks, and “let’s do that again” messages. So I adapted my plan.
New version: six social gatherings over the course of a year.
Right now, I’m halfway through—and still amazed at how showing up on purpose creates its own momentum.
The Evolving Experiment
Each gathering has taken on its own personality, but all have been meaningful.
The biggest takeaway?
Connection thrives when it’s consistent, just a genuine “yes” and a willingness to go first.
But there’s one idea I keep circling back to, one that feels both exciting and a little nerve-wracking (which usually means I’m onto something).
Enter: The SAVOR Society (or maybe Sisterhood)
I’ve mentioned it before, but now that I’ve said it out loud, I’m officially holding myself accountable.
The SAVOR Society/Sisterhood is taking shape as a community where women come together to:
Connect deeply — through real conversations and shared experiences.
Learn and grow — through workshops that blend positive psychology and everyday joy.
Savor life — the simple, human moments that feed happiness and belonging.
Explore topics that support thriving:
A theme, question, book, or essay, or a social issue connected to well-being or women’s empowerment
It’s part social experiment, part well-being collective, and completely heart-driven.
What’s Next?
As I map out the next few months, I’d love your input.
Would you be interested in a virtual gathering?
Who do you know that might love this kind of community?
Let me know your thoughts—I truly value them.
Because this experiment started as a personal project, but it’s growing into something much bigger.
And if friendship has taught me anything, it’s this:
“The best ideas don’t happen alone. They happen together.”
