Up Next for the Walking Book Club!
I’ve been a little MIA for The Walking Book Club, but I’m back! Thanks for your patience. (Graduate school has been extremely challenging. I’m anxious to share more about the lessons I’ve learned in future emails, the good, the bad, and the ugly.)
First, however, I wanted to update you, with more details upcoming.
March
March was dedicated to Audie nominated audiobooks. Audie Awards are like the Tonys for audiobooks and a fun place to peruse your next potential selection. Last year we moved and listened to The Final Revival of Opal and Nev, the winner of the best fiction category! You can find all the super-cool book extras for Opal and Nev here.
April
April group selection highlights Sally Hepworth’s audiobooks, especially her latest, The Younger Wife. We were fortunate to host Sally and narrator Barrie Kreinik last year for The Good Sister. (Fingers crossed, maybe we can host them again – stay tuned.)
May and June
May and June are for The Book Woman – The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek and the stand-alone sequel, The Book Woman’s Daughter by Kim Michele Richardson. Mark your calendar for a Heart and Soul Book Chat with Kim and the narrator on June 20th @ 6:30 PM EST. (I’m working on book extras starting next week.)
More Healthy-Body Happy-Mind inspiration soon!
Please keep in touch. I love to hear hear from you either directly, in our Discussion Group, or on Instagram!
xo,
Julie
Are you in the Charleston area?
Join us on September 28 at Colonial Lake for a picnic in the park and the first-ever in-person gathering of The Walking Book Club®.
I would really love to meet you in person!
Thank you for catching up with us, Julie! Looking forward to the April and May selections. I’ve already read The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek. Great choice!
Please join us for the stand-alone sequel, The Book Woman’s Daughter. Warmly, Julie
