We start by laying a solid foundation, then explore your ideal ingredients of health and happiness, set the cornerstones of wellness & wellbeing, and finally celebrate your work. Workshops include proven strategies and exercises that will move you further into your ideals. Together we’ll, savor laugh and learn.

Week One: Values and Vision

Meaningful goals give life purpose and begin with a solid foundation of your vision and your values. In this session, you’ll take active steps to discovering your heart’s desire. We start with “blue sky” dreaming and other proven exercises that help you create a road map to get where you want to go. This workshop pulls from the field of positive psychology, laying the foundation for real results.

Week Two: Making Goals Not Resolutions

Break down your vision into an action plan using goal-setting techniques that actually work. Meaningful goals give life purpose, but making goals reality is hard. This workshop pulls from goal-setting theory and goes beyond setting S.M.A.R.T. goals. We’ll delve into five key strategies proven to increase achievement and apply them to your life.

Week Three: Cornerstones of Health and Happiness

Everyone talks about wanting to be healthier or happier, but what does this actually mean to you? Getting clear on what makes a regular day great for you will help you create your own personal formula for greater wellness and well-being. We also explore your top five virtues and how you can utilize them more to enhance your happiness and health. You’ll walk away with a plan for small yet practical adjustments to infuse into your life for greater health and happiness.

Week Four: Creating an Environment to Support your Health and Happiness

Your home is a tool that can enhance (or deter) your efforts to live your best life. This session comes directly from years of work and from my book, The Flourishing Home. Real-world experience plus science from multiple fields are applied to the home environment. A few tips and tweaks to your environment will help you get your home working for you.

Week Five: Rethinking Weight Loss and Maintenance

Ditch the noisy world of quick-fix diets and make a real plan. Learn the five habits of successful weight loss and maintenance. In this session, the overhyped diet fads and false quick fixes are broken down and understood. The science of hunger and hormones and the five habits of successful weight loss are laid out in an understandable manner, giving you. concrete ideas strategies to successfully achieve weight loss and maintain the results.

Week Six: Savor and Celebrate Life’s Cupcake Moments

When you pause to celebrate success and positive experiences you consciously take your experience to a deeper level. Cupcake Moments go beyond the grand celebration and help participants home in on the daily victories that give life meaning. Participants walk away feeling more mindful, more grateful, and motivated to find the Cupcake Moments in the everyday.

About Healthy-Body Happy-Mind Coach Julie Kaminski

Julie Kaminski MA, NBC-HWC, holds a Master’s Art with distinction in Counseling Psychology specializing in group work, a Bachelors in Business with an emphasis is Health and Wellness, and is a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach. She holds ACE certifications in Group Fitness and Personal Training. In addition, she is licensed with Wellcoaches, the only American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) endorsed coaching program.

Julie is the creator of numerous small group training curriculum including Fitness Plus and The Walking Book Club. She has thirty years’ experience working in private practice, major corporations, clubs, and health centers.

Julie’s areas of expertise include: group counseling, dynamic group instruction, creative solutions and project management. Extensive experience in designing custom programs for individuals and groups. Knowledgeable in all areas of wellness, including fitness, health, nutrition, eating behaviors, stress management and spiritual fulfillment. Coaching skills include the application of motivational interviewing, goal setting theory, and appreciative inquiry. She completed University of Pennsylvania’s Foundations of Positive Psychology and is the author of The Flourishing Home.

Can I sign up for only a single workshops?
The series builds so registration for singular sessions is not available. However, I understand things arise and conflicts will arise and you may not be able to attend a session or two. I will do my very best to get you up to speed on materials via phone, email or Zoom.

All the workshop materials. In addition, I am available for support throughout the six weeks via text and email.
